Checking in

Hello Ladies!

I hope you have all had a successful week so far!

I have been so busy this week with baseball and rugby for my younger boys and haven't had a chance to get on here.  I love reading all of your posts and think it is so funny how as women we think alike and how I can relate to so many of the thoughts that you all have. :)

I have struggled this week with being able to feed my family dinner before 7pm and one night 8pm... YIKES!  We are so busy with sports that we only have one day off from practice or games and that is Sunday.  I am in need of quick BUT healthy meal ideas.  Fast Food is going to be the death of me!!!!!

If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

  1. We struggle with eating out too! Maybe a great challenge idea could be to cook ahead or at least plan out a menu for the week and stick to it. I have had success in once a month cooking but like other good things, I just fall out of the habit.

  2. I do not know how to make quick meals. I keep thinking I will start using my crock pot more but since our move 5 months ago I have no idea where it is!

  3. So if your family likes fish...Sam's Club has frozen tilapia or salmon with different flavors (parmesan crusted, terriaki, etc.) All you have to do is throw it in the oven for 15 mins....this is one of my go-to meals when we are in a hurry.

    Also I like throwing things on the grill, chicken, and pretty much all types of veggies with just a little olive oil and whatever seasoning you like are so good!

    Healthy and fast meals are hard!
